About
Providing Exceptional Care Across Eastern Ontario Carefor is a local charitable non-profit home health care and community support service organization. We offer a wide range of programs and services, supporting clients of all ages—and their caregivers too. Our skilled staff work closely with clients, caregivers and other members within the circle of care, to create and deliver a flexible care plan that is tailored to the individual’s needs. At Home Our services include nursing, personal support services, assisted living options, rehabilitation, homemaking support, respite and more. In the Community We offer a variety of community programs that range from exercise and social activities, to non-medical transportation and adult day programs designed to support individuals living with dementia. Respite programs are available for caregivers and families of loved ones. At Care Facilities Carefor also operates residential facilities including the Carefor Mackay Centre, Carefor Civic Complex, Richmond Care Home, Respite House and Hospice Cornwall. At Care Clinics Carefor provides clinical settings for health and wellness, women’s health, and foot care. Carefor also offers workplace immunization clinics, providing flu clinics at your office. Carefor services are available to clients and caregivers across three local regions: Renfrew County , Ottawa Region and Eastern Counties (S.D.G. and Prescott-Russell) .
